Dr. Vincelli was born and raised in Nepean, before accepting a hockey scholarship to Niagara University, where he played Division 1 NCAA hockey. He finished both his hockey and university degree at the University of Western Ontario, where he won a National Championship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. His passion for health, sports and helping others influenced his decision to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Vincelli graduated from chiropractic college (Magna Cum Laude) in 2007 and began his professional career as an associate at The Barrhaven Chiropractic Health Centre. In 2009, Dr. Vincelli took over ownership of the clinic, rebranded and expanded to create the Active Health Institute. What was originally a chiropractic clinic, with only two practicing chiropractors, is now an integrative health centre with multiple healthcare professionals.
Giving back to the community has always been a continued personal goal for Dr. Vincelli. He has volunteered and been involved with various community and charitable organizations, including; the Ultimate Run for Men’s Cancer, local sports teams, BBIA, high school events, co-op placements and many more.
Dr. Vincelli strives to stay up to date and current in his profession, always seeking the latest and best evidence based approaches to patient care. A true believer in “living by example” Dr. Vincelli continues to be active, playing hockey, soccer, weight training, golfing and running as well as leading a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, mental and spiritual balance. Dr. Vincelli’s community involvement, continuing education, passion to educate and caring attitude are responsible for the success of the Active Health Institute and continued trust in his patients have for all their health care concerns.
