Xiukui (Michelle) Wu, RMT, R.Ac Xiukui (Michelle) graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto and has been working as an RMT since 2020. She worked in different clinic settings in the past two years and treated various musculoskeletal conditions. She provides both relaxation and therapeutic massage, incorporating different techniques such as Swedish, trigger point, deep tissue, prenatal massage, etc. Before getting her RMT license, Michelle also obtained an advanced diploma of Acupuncture and has been a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Ontario (CTMCPAO) since 2019. She worked as an R.Ac in a physiotherapy clinic over 2 years and treated clients of different conditions such as pain management (low back pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, etc.), stress, menstruation disorders. Her approaches combine traditional Chinese acupuncture with cupping, Tui Na (Chinese massage), Gua Sha (scraping) and other TCM modalities. Michelle has moved to Ottawa recently to be closer to her family. Her interest in promoting health and rehabilitation will continue to motivate her to learn and provide services to achieve client’s treatment goals.
